GMP certification
Piz Frigo is GMP certified (Good Manufacturing Practice). The certification attests that our production processes are controlled and documented at every stage, with hygiene, traceability and quality control procedures. For our customers this means safe products, consistent over time and made to recognised standards.
EDP: solar plant with storage
EDP Energia Italia will build a 0.8 MWp solar plant at the Piz Frigo plant in Ronco all'Adige (Verona), with about 1,400 modules and an output of around 1 GWh per year, paired with a 0.4 MWh battery to increase self-consumption. It is expected to enter service in the last quarter of 2026, cutting an estimated 270 tonnes of CO₂ per year.
