Corn cob granules for soft, absorbent bedding for reptiles, rodents and birds
Our corn cob guarantees a completely natural litter, ideal for rodents, birds, and reptiles. Thanks to its high absorbency, it keeps the environment dry and comfortable longer, contributing to the well-being of the animals. It is hypoallergenic and antistatic, therefore it does not cause irritation or allergies, and is enriched with lemon essential oils that help control odors naturally.
The range includes Tutoletto, PiccoloAmico Tuttolo, and Tutolone, three solutions based on the same high-quality corn cob, but designed for different needs.
Tutoletto and PiccoloAmico Tuttolo are two identical products in composition, available in different sizes, designed to adapt to the needs of each owner and each type of animal.
Tutolone, more specific for birds and rodents, is designed as a natural alternative to wood pellets: lighter, biodegradable and easy to manage, with a coarser granulometry ideal for litters that require greater aeration and durability.
Features of our corn cob
For Tutoletto and PiccoloAmico Tuttolo, the granules have a size between 1 and 6 mm and are obtained through careful processing with hammer mills, pelleting machines and crushers.
For Tutolone, instead, the corn cob has a larger granulometry, of about 15 mm, obtained with the same processing processes but designed to offer a more structured and resistant litter.
All the corn cob comes exclusively from certified Italian corn plantations, selected to guarantee a product of the highest quality: free of pesticides, aflatoxins, molds, bacteria and completely free of GMOs. It is a 100% natural, biodegradable, light and safe material, much more practical to handle than traditional litters.
How to use
Fill the bottom of the litter with a layer of about 3 cm of product. The average duration is about 15 days, variable according to the species and size of the animal.
With Tutolone, remove the contaminated part daily and periodically replace the entire litter.
Once exhausted, the litter can be disposed of in wet waste or reused as organic fertilizer for plants.
